A welcome glint

In moments of stillness, when the chaos quiets and nature reveals its gentle truths, even a fleeting beam of sunlight becomes a messenger of grace. This haiku captures that sacred instant—the golden light piercing through a canopy, evoking hope, presence, and spiritual awakening. Inspired by the beauty of the natural world and the soul’s readiness to receive illumination, this poem is a quiet welcome to the divine radiance that surrounds and sustains us.

Blinding golden glint,
peeping from lush canopy.
I welcome the light.

Shifting Skies

In this haiku, we capture a fleeting moment of atmospheric transition where impending rain casts a shadow over the landscape. The sun struggles valiantly against dense, encroaching clouds, symbolizing hope amid adversity. Meanwhile, pigeons calmly forage on millets, embodying life's persistent continuity and simple pleasures despite nature's tumult. The poem invites reflection on the interplay of light and darkness, and the resilience inherent in everyday existence. It celebrates nature's ever-changing yet enduring beauty.

Rain round the corner.
Sun struggles against dense clouds,
pigeons eat millets.

Light beyond the clouds

This cherita reflects the human journey through darkness and light — a reminder that just as the sun reemerges after the clouds, our souls find renewal through grace. It speaks of burdens we carry, the dust that gathers, and the gentle breeze of divine remembrance that purifies and restores. A meditation on hope, forgiveness, and spiritual cleansing.

Sun, behind the winter clouds,
It becomes dark for a little while,
and then it is bright and burning again.

Our sins plague and beleaguer,
dust gathers on our souls.

Gentle breeze of Thy name cleanses our being.

The bench in the park

Sunshines and the storms.
The wooden bench in park,
splintered with time,
bears witness to it all.

Sunbeam

 The gold tinted azure skies,

spotless shade of blue,

the kind that hurts the eyes,

or be it the cloudy dreary pale greys...

The sun is always there,

in all its radiant glory.

Defying winters

Embers of passion,
defying solemn winters.
Folks, making merry.
Around the bonfire,
gratitude and revelry.
Life, celebrated.
Howling icy winds,
silenced, their grim might broken.
Strong, the zeal to live.
Echoes of folk songs,
vibrating through the dark night.
Spirit, thus kindled.
The sun reclaims reign,
the sultry siestas past.
Zestful, the kites soar.
