Hark! The rhythm

Hark! The rhythm. The pellet drum rattles. The dance begins. The creation, the annihilation, the fleeing in-betweens, and beyond these appar...

Oh! I shop at the Tiffany's daily.

The elegance caught
My eye;
The sophistication
With which
The glam and glitter
Were displayed
Had my
Curiosity hormones
Gushing and rushing;
The momentum
Of feet
Took me past
The sparkling display
Breaking only
Before a
Derelict shack
A couple of shops away.
I closed my eyes
And
Took a deep breath
And in that
Infinitesimal moment
I knew
I had to walk back
To that extravaganza.
I pulled
At
The glass threshold
And stood there
Hesitating
And
Wavering
While
The torrid june air
Disturbed the
Calm of the
Showroom.
Instinctively,
The shop owner
Looked up,
Our eyes met
And
In that one moment
The chance
Of
Fleeting
Was sealed.
"Bracelets?"
I stuttered
And stammered.
"This way."
A salesman followed,
Matching steps with me,
Asking me
Some
Unintelligible paragraphs.
My eyes glued
To the swarovski,
My mind doing the maths.
Finally,
I found one piece
Pleasing to
Both
The opthalmic
And
Encephalic
Tastebuds.
I paused.
So did the salesman.
"This one please"
Trained hands
Removed it
From
The case
In a jiffy.
Gently,
I traced its contours.
Took my time,
Exploring
Like an expert.
"I would like to try it"
Queenly,
I offered my wrist,
Stately,
He put the cuffs.
Smitten,
I whispered,
"I'll take it".
Scanned the shop
With
An extra milligram
Of confidence
Before
Coming
To the
Pay Here counter.
Smartly,
I took out
The seldom used
Plastic money.
Expertly,
I signed the
Seller's receipt.
Surefooted,
I walked out
Stopping
Only before
That derelict shack
To laugh
At my little
"Oh! I shop at
The Tiffany's
Daily"
Act.
