Wanderer

Restless soul
Burns;
Flames of desire
Consume;
Sleepless eyes
Search
The dark dungeons;
Your thoughts
Keep me awake,
Tossing, turning
Waves of hopes
Rising, falling,
Crashing;
Eventides pass,
And
Yet,
You don’t come.

  8. A powerfully sad and lonely poem! I think we've all felt like that at least once. It's an awful feeling but you captured it and expressed it well!
