The Dusk

Wooden legs
Slowly
Trudge forward
While the
Foggy brain
Runs
The to-do list
Over and over,

Committing remnants
To the
Overused memory)
Just in case
The now so
Tired hands
Have skipped
Or forgotten
Something.
Is the dusk
Crawling on me?

As I age, the "to do list" is becoming my new best friend.
