Felicitous
life,
Flanked by,
Innocence
Blooming
In
Frilly
frocks,
Youngest
Fell asleep
In the humdrum
Of
Flooded
local,
Endeavors
To rise her
Foiled
By
Summered stubbornness.
The eldest
Splashed
Water,
Feigned
innocence,
Until that rubbing-eyes
Sleepy
“Who dunnit”
Set her
giggling.

This is cute - siblings do love to mess with each other!
ReplyDeleteYeah all the time, everywhere
DeleteMy kids did that to their older brother the other day while he was napping on the couch. I rubbed my temples, lectured, and wondered how long this stage will last. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, I am sure they must have had great time doing it to one another. I saw this happening in the local bus and we were all having a great time watching these kids.
DeleteVery cute poem. Nice theme that flows through, and like the guilty/innocent ending. :) Writer’s Mark
