Beast-time

Two little hands
Out of nowhere
Going round
My neck
Slimy.
Gooey.
Soppy.
Wake up affrighted.
The clock ticks 3.
A.M.
Scared to
Close the eyes.
Lest the beast
Cuts across

My captain-bed.
