10 Giant leaps


He sneaks his way out.
One step at a time,
Slowly and steadily,
He trudges up the stairs.
Tiny steps making ten giant leaps.
And ah! The terrace!
Seals his triumph with giggles.

  8. Oh yes! I love the little footprints. There's a certain age when kids are big enough to do more than you think, but still small enough that when you hold hands with them, you wind up dragging them everywhere, and this piece evoked that feeling for me.
