Thoughts on Guru

With Thee, all possibilities,

bereft of Thee, no knowledge. 

No reflections, beyond Thy name,

and by Thy grace alone, all salvation. 

Welfare unto all 

Rab rakha 

An orison

Life, is a pilgrimage. 

A holy journey, where, 

methods blend into wisdom, 

myths meld with truths, 

sciences fuse with faiths

and finally, 

the soil becomes saint. 

And, Thou art the destination,

that realm, that skyline

where this amalgamation happens, 

where we become one with Thee.

Essentially, we walk, 

from Thee, to Thee

by Thy grace.

Amen.

Gyaan Anjan Gur Diya

The darkness destroys.

Murkiness of ignorance,

the oblivion, the inscience impairs us.

And in this twilight,

in this lightlessness,

Thee smears my eyes

with the kohl of knowledge. 

Thee blesses me with a salve, 

a medicated, 

healing ointment of wisdom.

Blessed am I, 

with Thy mercy and Thy grace, 

angelic, seraphic souls

guide me, essentially, to a path

that is ablaze and aglow

with pearls of sagacity. 

Shady denseness is dispelled. 

O dear! Thy divine favor be, 

I am radiant within.
