Tiny hands fumbling,
Contouring cursives.
Tiny feet staggering,
Spanning corridor.
His babble,
Seldom making sense.
And now
Confident hands
Arranging bookshelves.
Confident strides
Shifting furniture.
Occasionally nuggets of wisdom
In complete innocence.
His hearty embrace unchanged.
He comes running for one now.
