Surmise

Like a stone
Tossed away
On aqueous stage;
Dreams wasted.
Like
Expanding ring
Of ripples
Synchronous stir
Spreading slowly;
The pain of loss.
Fading away
Into
Those unfathomable
Depths of water;

My being.
