Simple cup of tea
Tea, mint, sugar,
delicate proportionate balance,
diffuses slowly,
elementally,
in the simmering water.
The stains blend,
beautifully,
in the teapot.
A deep saturation follows.
Calm, quiet contentment.
One simple cup of tea,
brewed to perfection,
in a mindful, meditative ritual.
A ceremony indeed.
