A Pristine Lotus
Inspired by the Janamsakhi folklore of Guru Nanak Dev Ji returning after his first Udasi to meet Mata Sulakhni Ji and his sons, this haiku captures his gaze resting upon her amid the gathered multitudes, like a pristine lotus.
