Flickers

Maimed
By
Her absence.
Here I am.
Wounded and sutured.
Oozy.
Brittle.
Unhealed.
She
Alone
Can shush this
Stormy self.
Evanescent,
I still breathe her.
The quietus
Shall silence
These yammers.
I shall be at peace
But
Some questions
Will linger on.
